Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas and a safe and happy festive season, we hope that 2017 brings a brilliant year for all.
It’s been another big year for us here at The Skill Collective, so here’s a quick roundup of what’s been happening for us in 2016:
BLOG
Our blog has grown from strength to strength with some really fantastic topics covered this year. Okay, so we may be a bit biased, so check out it out for yourself here in the Top 10 Blog Posts of 2016: Blog Year In Review.
OUR OFFICE
We’ve moved! Yes, we’ve listened to your feedback about the parking situation at our previous location and we’ve now moved to Subiaco (6/95 Hay St) where there is FREE street parking and we’re still accessible by public transport. Find us here.
OUR SERVICES + OUR TEAM
We’ve expanded our team! In addition to Joyce and Annie we have been fortunate enough to have Cathryn Prendergast and Farah Gulamoydeen join us. Read more about Cathryn and Farah here. With this we have more after-hours appointments available as these are our most popular time slots.
With Cathryn on board we now offer individual services for Children + Adolescents (aged 3+), and Farah brings on board a wealth of experience in the area of work and wellbeing.
COLLABORATING WITH SOME SPECIAL FRIENDS
This year we were thrilled to team with Front Runner Sports and The Running Centre to bring their City to Surf weekly tips on psychological motivation and goal setting to help them in their preparation for the big race. It was great also to meet members of the Fresh running group when we ran a workshop on how to personalise these tips for their preparation.
OUR NEWSLETTER
A special shout out to our newsletter subscribers who have unlocked monthly exclusive tips. We often get asked what’s is covered in our Exclusive Tips so here are some of the topics we covered in 2016:
Men’s Health: The Essential Checklist
Resilience: 3 Simple tips to boost your psychological immunity
7 Health behaviours that boost your wellbeing
Anxiety: A quick reference guide

4 Thinking Traps that lead to Psychological Distress
There’s still time to sign up for January’s topic - How Healthy is Your Relationship with Food?
…And while we had some technical hiccups with bringing you our Mighty Mindset workshop, we’re determined to spread the goodness so keep an eye out for it!
Thank you all for your support in 2016, we’re thrilled to have brought you month after month of tips and techniques to help you build skills for a better life. See you in 2017!
