Annie uses a warm and encouraging style, collaborating with you to find the best fit for your needs. She helps individuals work towards living a fulfilling and meaningful life, be it working on improving mental health and wellbeing, or living a life in accordance with one's values.
She is particularly skilled in working with individuals on improving the quality of their relationships, and also provides couples counselling.

Annie work with individuals who feel overwhelmed at work and in life, helping them boost their resilience and address underlying mindset (including perfectionism) and habits that hold them back.

In relation to anxiety Annie works particularly well with Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, and Social Anxiety.

Annie helps individuals with emotional eating, eating disorders, body image and low self-esteem issues. She has worked within the Hollywood Hospital’s Eating Disorders Program, and has also seen patients who have completed the Body Esteem Program at Women’s Health and Family Services.

Assisting individuals and couples to develop better communication and relationship skills, Annie work with those who want to improve the way that they relate to others, be it in partner relationships, with family members, and also communicating better at work (she has taught communication skills to UWA medical students).
Annie also provides couples therapy.

Helping individuals with alcohol misuse, Annie has worked with the Alcohol and Substance Use Treatment Program at Hollywood Hospital.

Assisting individuals to live a more meaningful life aligned with their values.
She also work well with individuals from a faith-based perspective (particularly Christianity, within which she receives pastoral referrals).

Annie has been practising as a Clinical Psychologist for 20 years, and worked for many years in Hollywood Hospital in clinical and research capacities as well as in private practice.
She utilise evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Positive Psychology, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness, and integrative Couples Therapy.
Annie completed her training at The University of Western Australia where she gained her Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) and Master of Clinical Psychology. Annie has also taught communication skills to undergraduate medical students at UWA, facilitated wellbeing and mental health training, and provides professional support to organisations.
Annie runs her own independent practice and engages The Skill Collective to provide administrative and other business services to support her provision of assessment and treatment to clients.
