How to refer

FOR GENERAL PRACTITIONERS AND PSYCHIATRISTS

Our Psychologists are registered with Medicare to provide psychological therapy. We welcome referrals under a Mental Health Care Plan (MBS Items 2700, 2701, 2715, or 2717) and a Team Care Arrangement (MBS Items 721 or 723). Additionally, Joyce is also registered with Medicare to provide Non-Directive Pregnancy Counselling.

FOR PSYCHIATRISTS

We welcome referrals from psychiatrists under a Mental Health Care Plan (MBS Items 291 and 293).

THIRD PARTY REFERRALS

The Skill Collective accepts referrals from various third party agencies (ICWA, WorkCover, EAP programs). Please note that approval for psychological services under third party referrals must be obtained before attending the first appointment.

Particularly in the case of Workers Compensation or other Third Party Insurers (e.g. Insurance Commission of Western Australia), the relevant insurers must have given written approval for claims for psychological injuries before attending the clinic.
