Kristy is an insightful and pragmatic clinician with a special interest in working with individuals to shift unhelpful lifelong patterns (behaviours and mindset) that impact in all areas of life.
Therapeutic approaches that Kristy practices include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Emotion Focused Therapy.
Kristy has a special interest in working with the following presentations:
Anxiety (health anxiety, panic, worry, phobias)
Depression and bipolar disorder
Communication and relationship issues (including parent-child relationships, work relationships, couples therapy)
Shifting unhelpful lifelong mindset and behaviours to produce lasting changes
Work-related issues including Worker’s Compensation matters, including Return to Work planning, communication in the workplace, and pain management.
Pregnancy and fertility treatment, Perinatal anxiety and depression
Stress management, Burnout, and Work/life balance
As part of her undergraduate and postgraduate psychology training, Kristy trained at the Westmead Anxiety Clinic and conducted research in the area of Health Anxiety. Her background includes working in the public health system and private sector.
Kristy takes an open and collaborative approach to assisting individuals move forward in life.
She works with individuals aged 16+ years, and is registered to provide Medicare and health fund rebates.
